Things Change

Image
The last time I was able to babysit you was a week ago.  It was a very sweet and happy day.  I never take for granted any minute that I get to be with you.  And I’m glad because 5 days ago your parents told me they decided to take you to a babysitter instead of have me watch you.  It broke my heart and I’ve had a hard time eating or sleeping since receiving that news.  But I have to respect your parents choices.  Being able to spend time with you was what I looked forward to most out of anything in my life.  So I’ve fallen into a depression.  But this isn’t about me.  Your parents have to do what is easiest and best for them.   Here are some photos of our last day talking a little rest together.  I love you so much!!!!!!

Christmas Outfit

Sometimes I get to watch you at my house for most of the day while your parents work.  Sometimes if your mom has to work a night shift, I will come over to watch you for a few hours so that she can take a nap before being up all night.   I did that yesterday.  You were dressed in the cutest little Christmas outfit!

The Park

This week has been pretty chilly. But Monday the sun was out and it warmed up in the afternoon.  I took you to the park and you tried out the swings for the first time.  You weren’t scared at all.  Just curious and quite happy.   We also just sat on the grass.  You were so calm.  I felt like you and I were feeling the same things as we sat at the top of the hill, looking out at the lake and mountains.  We were the only ones at the park.  We would occasionally hear a dog bark in the distance.  You seemed to be soaking up every bit of it.
