I am so grateful that my schedule is flexible enough that I will often get to watch you while your mom is at work. Aunt Adelaide moved out of our house and into her own apartment about 5 weeks ago. Ever since your eyes have developed enough to see more than about 12 inches, you have loved to look all around at the world around you. You love to see the ceiling fan and any toys dangling overhead. So, I decided to make you a mobile out of felt. I didn’t really know what I was doing, but I figured that I could fumble my way along. Your favorite animal so far has been a koala. I don’t know if it is just because of one particular toy. Perhaps you will continue to love koalas as you grow older. I don’t know. But as I was deciding what to make, I knew I wanted to do a koala…but what else? Your dad loves sharks, especially the hammerhead.
